Business Administrator level 3
Occupational Profile
Business administrators can work in any sectors including small and large businesses, both in private and public.
The job will entail creating, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing administrative services.
It may need working alone or in a group. The role’s duties include interacting with both internal and external customers as well as supporting and interacting with various departments within the company.
A business administrator’s job is to provide value to an organisation by supporting its functional areas, collaborating with teams, and finding solutions to problems as they arise.
Course Overview and Structure
The course is delivered on-site or online by an allocated personal tutor.
Learners will develop their knowledge skills and behaviours through monthly workshops and 20% off-the job-training to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.
Additional 1-1 support sessions will also be available as required. All apprentices must spend a minimum of 12 months on-programme.
End Point Assessment consists of
- portfolio of evidence, work based project and interview

English and Maths at level 2, (can be completed alongside the apprenticeship)

Progression & Professional Alignment
The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
